The big idea behind this Garden Day photo shoot was to get South Africans to spend less time looking at our gardens and more hours living in them. A mission driven by Clarisse Coetzee.

 Floral stylist Alwijn Burger was here to de-mystify the art behind this headwear and to encourage anyone to try it.

For radio host Sechaba Gqeba, this was a glorious antidote to many hours spent in studio.

Famed for growing their own fresh ingredients, restaurateurs Luke Grant and Jessica Shepherd admit they too should spend more time al fresco.

While journalist Malibongwe Tylo only has a pot garden on his balcony, he is fully behind the spirit of Garden Day.
