Top Billing gets invited to the Cricket South Africa Awards
With the Proteas top of the ODI rankings and eyeing that test top spot, Cricketer of The Year could easily go to any of Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, Kagiso Rabada or Imran Tahir - perhaps the best way to decide it is was a round of golf and that was exactly what they did.
The attack-minded captaincy of Faf du Plessis has seen the team win every test series played in the past twelve matches which made him a great candidate for Cricketer of the Year. Also in the running with a test average of fifty four this past season, Quinton de Kock has been dynamite. Last season’s event saw Kagiso Rabada taking home six CSA Awards perhaps he could add to his collection. Last but certainly not least has been spin-bowler Imran Tahir, who has proved his worth again taking his IPL team to the finals.
With such great candidates the choice will certainly be a tough one, catch Top Billing this Thursday at 8:30pm to see who takes the spoils!
