Fitness and décor entrepreneur Nonhle Jali takes a weekend away with husband Andile Jali!
Nonhle was always a smart businesswoman and decor and property are an increasing focus for her. Before she was a fitness brand ambassador and a household name in healthy living, she worked in sales, marketing, print, design and event management. Experience which she puts to use daily, in her interiors business.
Joining us would be Lindiwe Ndlela, one of Nonhle’s besties and Godmother to one of her twins, a chartered accountant and Chief Financial Officer for 4 Africa Exchange. Our destination – the Ladysmith region of KwaZulu Natal and Nambiti Plains Private Game Lodge and Reserve.
The lodge sits on former cattle farming land, bought by two trout fishing friends who worked with conservationists to reclaim the land as a wildlife reserve.
During Andile’s time in Belgium, he and Nonhle saw the best of Europe but now that he’s back, they’re loving the chance to discover their own country. The midfield dynamo left his club Oostende, having helped them climb the ranks in the Belgian Pro League then make it into the Europa League qualifiers. Family was his motivation for leaving and though he’s excited to be getting back into the ABSA Premiership for the 2018/ 19 season, it is times like these that he returned for.
The Jali pride now numbers six with twins Amare and Andile Jnr, two year old Amahle and sixteen year old Aurelie.
A game reserve near excellent fishing sites is just the place if, like Nonhle, you enjoy a protein rich diet of fish, beef and ostrich. With live, musical accompaniment. The highlight was an exclusive Top Billing preview of the wedding wardrobe.
After four years of Andile being mostly in Oostende and his true love back home in Jozi, any excuse to hit the dancefloor together is one they’ll grab.
At only 28, the midfielder they call ‘Gattuso’ still has a good few seasons of top-flight football in him. With her new interior décor product ranges coming out in the Spring, Mrs. Jali has plenty to do – not to mention raising four children. But for one night at least, all they had to do was dance.
