Deep fried Bar One with ice cream and berries
The perfect entertainment snack or finish to any meal.
(serves 4)
4 x 55g Bar-One chocolates, cut in half 4 sheets phyllo pastry, cut in half 2 cups cooking oil 4-8 scoops vanilla ice cream 200g blueberries 200g raspberries
Roll each chocolate piece in a half sheet of pastry, sealing the edges with water.
Heat the oil over a medium heat and fry the parcels until light brown. Drain on kitchen paper. Dust with icing sugar and serve with vanilla ice-cream and berries of your choice. If you wish you can poach the berries lightly in a sugar syrup before serving.
