Bold and the Beautiful celebrate 30th Birthday in SA

It was our privilege to host the visiting trio of soap opera royalty on the Southern leg of their South African tour. A traditional and Cape Malay lunch was the order for this multi Emmy winning cast of Heather Tom, Karla Mosley and Jacob Young.

 While keeping it fresh, the Bold & Beautiful producers must consistently deliver what 26 million viewers have come to love about the show. A balancing act which winemaker Rudolph Steenkamp can relate to. 

Our evening engagement at this waterfront venue was a shared birthday between the longest running lifestyle show and daytime drama on South African television.

Karla, Jacob and Heather were discovering that they have a close, extended television family.  

Karla’s character Maya was the first transgender woman to marry on daytime drama, proving the show is bold.
If, by chance, you haven’t watched the Bold and The Beautiful then any weekday evening at 6:30 pm on SABC3 is a fine time to start.
