A classic home for Leigh and Rob Rein
This house brings art, interiors, architecture and the outdoors together in one irresistible design.
Each Sunday, Leigh and Rob Rein would take their dog for a walk and watch how this single roof modernist structure was developing. Leigh would tell Rob this was her dream home and she’d live here one day.
It turned out that an old school friend was the owner, the house came on the market and Leigh got her wish. For a year before they owned it, Leigh lay awake at night decorating the house in her mind. Until she got to do it for real. Leigh’s family were in the antiques business for many years and it was through her mom that she got her eye for design and decor.
Collecting art is a new passion for Leigh and she’s already curated her first exhibition at her home which became an open gallery for five days. It could be argued that each of the rooms in the house stand as art installations themselves.
To this couple, bliss is sipping a Pinot Noir under the Tipuana Tree whilst cracking open pecan nuts dislodged from their tree by the resident parrots. Out here, the lady of the manor wants for nothing.
