Top Billing invites you into the home of a globetrotting model
It is magic in monochrome and glass at the foot of Africa with Top Billing and this stunning home!
This is the first place that Jenny and Hugo Kouwenhoven have settled in seventeen years together. The giant boulder they moved to create extra parking space was a sign of how serious they are about putting roots down and for a lady born in Ivory Coast, who moved to France as a teenager, it’s a kind of homecoming.
I am the owner of a hair and beauty salon. We opened last October, it’s very beautiful and you’re invited to come along and explore. For me, it’s an extension of my previous work as a model. Today, it’s a way to pass on everything I’ve learned to all men and women on how to get to the top, become successful and how to take care of themselves.
The main style of the house is minimalistic and monochrome. Where there is variation it’s usually in different shades of the same colour.
The design is the work of Francois Du Plessis who originally hails from Zambia, lived in Zimbabwe and made his name with signature interiors like these.
With a flair for style, Francois had to choose between a career in fashion or design and his fashion side still shines through. Presented with all the glass in this extensive staircase, he applied wall paper ‘to’ the glass for colour and texture without losing the cleanness of the glass. At the bottom of the stairs, Nature provides all the drama.
