DJ Ankletap ties the knot As the tradition goes, a girl is only supposed to propose to a guy in a leap year. But nothing is stopping her from making the first move so, when Ad Exec Natasha Bishop first saw Bryce Clarke do a rocking DJ set, she seized the moment.
Joburg is the city for this vibey couple. Bryce Clarke’s energetic ability to connect with an audience have driven him to the top of Gauteng radio. Qualities which have also made Natasha a leading Advertising Executive in the nation’s commercial hub. Six months into their relationship, they both knew, this was for keeps.
A year and eight months after meeting Bryce, Natasha was about to walk down the aisle in a triple-threat show-stopper of a gown by Jacelyn Gozadinos and Top Billing was invited to join the celebration.
To choose a venue, the couple popped a bottle of champagne and began to review options. The last one in their file took the cake. Being in Plett, it made for a welcome weekend holiday for all.
For their theme, they went simple and chic. Alfresco dining with pared down but magical décor, by co-ordinator Jana Goodman and Elfi Besieger finished off the look with floral design that looked as if it was right out of a painting.
Whether they came from Gauteng, KZN or The Cape, every guest took the Plett wedding as an excuse to road-trip, and be there for two of their favourite people.
After operations on his feet as a child, schoolmates nicknamed Bryce ‘Ankletap' for not having ankles. He owned the nickname, laughed about it and got busy living.
Regarding the future, Natasha is convinced she’d do an ace job as her husband’s manager and Bryce, from what we’ve seen, nobody could do it better!
